House of Stone was shot on location in Harare –Zimbabwe with a second Unit shooting the 2 American scenes on location in the USA. House of Stone was shot with an all Zimbabwean crew and the filming was at some point interrupted by the Covid 19 outbreak and there were many challenges in getting the cast and crew to locations and set during this difficult period. The production also contains footage shot in 2012 as part of the aborted Zambezi movie project which failed to get beyond post production due to unforeseen circumstances related to funding and financial constraints. The incorporation of this footage into this storyline as flashbacks was natural progression given that House of Stone is an extension of that concept and despite the advancement in filming equipment and technology the texture of the 2012 material is perfect for the back story of two of the major characters Patrick Jean Lurc Morake and his wife Victoria Nadesh Morake. Entertainment Afrika Media as a brand brought the project to life through the spirit of collaboration with like minded organizations, companies and individuals.
